Create Transitions, Risers and SFX. It's common to see specialist plugins that simplify general synthesis architecture to focus on a particular task. With some thought and by linking key controls on plugins to automation clips, or a Patcher Control Surface you can do something similar with the tools you already have.

Below is an impromptu performance captured during the Image-Line 2013 developers meet. We had a couple of Windows 8, touch computers running FL Studio, so nucleon and sacco set to jamming on a table in one of the hotel rooms.

The Image-Line development team is spread around the globe (Australia, Austria, Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Norway, Spain, Russia & the UK). So when we get together it's an opportunity to play a little.

 

On the list of tutorials we should have made ages ago but haven't yet, is a short and to the point 'Getting Started' with FL Studio. If you who think this may just be for new users, perhaps not. Watch for a workflow that doesn't need lots of clip-selectors or Block tracks.
