Tom Swoon won us all over with his humility and eagerness to explain his workflow and production techniques. In this video Tom takes us through his FL Studio project for ‘Here I Stand’ and shows the importance of layering and EQ in achieving his clean, fresh sound.

About Tom Swoon

 

Tom Swoon, was born in the small city of Goleniow in Poland. His interest in music started at a very young age; Tom was fascinated by rock music and started his very own rock band together with a group of friends when he was just 14. Jamming on the guitar was a daily escape and only fuelled his passion further. At the age of 17, he discovered electronic dance music and was inspired by artists such as Deadmau5 and Daft Punk.

What is Dancefair? 

Dancefair is a two-day conference held every year around February. It brings together musicians of all levels and experts in the industry. This year the Image-Line team and Power Users will be presenting workshops, masterclasses and be on hand to talk to the FL Studio and music making community. It's for everyone who wants to grow as a professional in the electronic music industry.
